MATTA hails visa-free move to woo Chinese visitors

PETALING JAYA: The Government’s move to allow visa-free travel of Chinese visitors into the country has been lauded by the Malaysian Association of Tour and Travel Agents (MATTA), which also calls for the same treatment for tourists from India.

MATTA president Datuk Hamzah Rahmat, in welcoming the timely move, said the association had been asking for almost two years for visa-free entry for Chinese visitors in order to increase their numbers.
