Contamination in Sg Langat causes water disruption in Hulu Langat


The Cheras Batu 11 water treatment plant was temporarily shut down due to contamination in Sungai Langat.

KUALA LUMPUR: Twenty-five areas in Hulu Langat experienced water supply disruption from noon Sunday due to a temporary shutdown of the Cheras Batu 11 water treatment plant due to contamination in Sungai Langat.

According to the Selangor Water Supply Company (SYABAS), the river was now being closely monitored and water treatment plants would be operational again as soon as the water contamination situation in Sungai Langat was resolved.
