KOTA TINGGI: Malaysian Maritime Enforcement Agency (MMEA) in Tanjung Sedili foiled an attempt to smuggle cigarettes worth RM5.30mil including unpaid duties from Indonesia on Saturday.
Southern Region First Admiral Adon Shalan said the MMEA was conducting routine patrol when it received information from the maritime surveillance system of suspicious activity taking place off Tanjung Ayam near Pengerang at around 10.10pm.
