Orang Asli villagers lodge report against assemblyman for firing gun


IPOH: A group of Temiar Orang Asli people from Sungai Papan Village, Kenering have lodged a police report against Kenering assemblyman Datuk Mohd Tarmizi Idris for allegedly firing his gun into the air at their village.

The five complainants - Anjang a/l Aluej, Jekeh bin Senangoh, Mohammad Lokman bin Jali, Muhammad Ghazali bin Jali and Ramli a/k Aluej - accompanied by representatives from Indigenous Peoples' Network of Malaysia (Joas) lodged the report at IPD Subang Jaya on Tuesday night.
