KUALA LUMPUR: The increase in Bahasa Malaysia teaching periods in Chinese vernacular schools is not under the purview of the Education Ministry, said Deputy Education Minister Chong Sin Woon (pic).
He noted that the number of Bahasa Malaysia classes differed in each school.
