PETALING JAYA: Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has backed Datuk Seri Mukhriz Mahathir amidst a revolt by 14 state Umno division leaders who want him ousted as Kedah Mentri Besar.
The former deputy prime minister said if it was not for Mukhriz, Barisan Nasional would not have been able to recapture Kedah from the Opposition in the last general election.
