GEORGE TOWN: A primary school here has received a piece of good news in the form of a RM500,000 special allocation just as it was preparing for the Ponggal festival.
Bayan Lepas assemblyman Nordin Ahmad, who was present at the Ponggal celebration at SRJK (T) Bayan Lepas yesterday, said the funds from the Education Ministry would be given at the end of the month.
