PETALING JAYA: Malaysian songstress Shila Amzah, who is making waves with her talent in China, has earned herself a mention in an opinion piece in the New York Times.
The opinion – written by Malaysia’s critically acclaimed writer Tash Aw – said that Shila was a pop star famed for her fashion sense as much for her powerful voice, which won her the crown in the reality talent show, Asian Wave.
