Rafidah: Govt only acts on environment issues after damage is done

PETALING JAYA: Following the recent Bauxite pollution in Pahang, former minister Tan Sri Rafidah Aziz called on the government to scrutinise the cost and benefits of projects that impact the environment before approving it.

Rafidah wrote on her Facebook page that the government only looks into the matter when the environment is already badly damaged.
