KUALA LUMPUR: The transfer of judges to certain courts nationwide was made to speed up the disposal of cases and accommodate the judiciary’s promotion exercises, said Chief Justice Tun Arifin Zakaria.
Justice Arifin said the judiciary did not punish any judges by transferring them due to their recent decisions or landmark judgments.
