MALACCA: Tenaga Nasional Berhad (TNB) targets to plant 13,000 trees at 13 locations in peninsular Malaysia this year, in line with the utility company’s commitment to environmental protection and conservation.
Its senior general manager (Corporate Affairs and Communication) Datuk Mohd Aminuddin Mohd Amin said that the initiative, under the “Tree for a Tree” programme, involved the planting of 1,000 trees at a cost of RM100,000 to RM120,000 at each of the selected locations.
