PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Communications and Multimedia Commission (MCMC) will monitor the implementation of rebate to users of mobile prepaid services starting Jan 1 and will take action against telecommunications companies that fail to follow the rules.
In a statement on Thursday, the commission’s chairman Datuk Seri Dr Halim Shafie said that MCMC would ensure the smooth implementation of the rebate scheme while at the same time prioritise customer interest.
