‘NSC Bill definitely not like ISA’


From opposition politicians to interest groups and even Suhakam, the National Security Council (NSC) Bill has earned brickbats over the manner it was passed in Parliament. Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed sat down with HEMANANTHANI SIVANANDAM to address what he termed as ‘unfair perceptions’.

PETALING JAYA: The National Security Council (NSC) Bill will be used to manage “specific and narrow” security threats and not target individuals, unlike previous legislation, Deputy Home Minister Datuk Nur Jazlan Mohamed said.
