JOHOR BARU: Two friends were found to have drowned at a beach in Jalan Desaru Bandar Penawar in Kota Tinggi.
Bandar Penawar fire and rescue department chief Mohd Fadli Ismail said on Thursday that 17 personnel were sent to the location to search for the victims after receiving a distress call at around 7.30pm on Wednesday.
