KUALA LUMPUR: The Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) will not approve or renew licences for stand-alone liquor shops, the Dewan Negara was told Thursday.
Federal Territories Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Loga Bala Mohan said it was part of a new effort undertaken by DBKL, which had begun in the Brickfields area, and it would be extended to the whole of Kuala Lumpur later.
