KUALA LUMPUR: Supporters of former MIC president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel are seeking an explanation from the Registrar of Societies (RoS) over an alleged conspiracy behind the nullification of the party's 2013 election results.
Former MIC strategic director A.K. Ramalingam claimed on Tuesday that a letter sent by the RoS in January directing MIC to hold re-elections for its branch, division, and national posts, was drafted by a legal representative in the party aligned to current MIC president Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam.
