SINGAPORE: The Sabah Earthquake Fund, set up shortly after the June 5 earthquake struck Mount Kinabalu, has raised nearly a million dollars to help the families of Singaporeans who died in the disaster and to rebuild the lives of the trainers and guides who were affected.
On the day the earthquake struck, 23 Tanjong Katong Primary School (TKPS) pupils and eight school staff were visiting on an expedition.
