KUALA LUMPUR: Civil society representatives led by Datuk Seri Ambiga Sreenevasan and Bersih 4 chairman Maria Chin Abdullah held a protest outside the Dewan Rakyat on Thursday to oppose the National Security Council Bill 2015.
The group demanded that the Bill be postponed until proper consultation with civil society is carried out, submitting a memorandum prepared by the National Human Rights Society Malaysia (Hakam) to MPs present.
