PETALING JAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) advisory board is against the proposal by the Enforcement Agency Integrity Commission (EAIC) to place the commission under its purview.
In a statement issued by Anti-Corruption Advisory Board (ACAB) chairman Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim on Tuesday, the proposal was deemed as “unnecessary” as the MACC was already an independent enforcement agency under the existing law.
