KUALA LUMPUR: Businessman J. Deepak Jaikishan has failed to settle a RM1.1bil libel suit against former Cabinet minister Tan Sri Sabbaruddin Chik for allegedly implying that he is a controversial businessman.
Deepak has sued Sabbaruddin, who is also a former Bank Rakyat chairman and book author Shahbudin Husin for defamation in relation to the payment of a bank loan.
