GEORGE TOWN: It is “illogical” for anyone in Kedah to suggest that Penang should pay for raw water drawn from Muda River, said PBA Holdings Berhad (PBAHB) chief executive officer Datuk Jaseni Maidinsa.
He said according to S2(1) of the nine-page Kedah and Penang (Alteration of Boundary) Act, the border of Penang and Kedah runs “along the centre line of the Muda River channel” and that the border line will remain in the middle of the river channel even in the event the river changes course.
