PBS branches in Peninsular Malaysia meant to strengthen BN

PETALING JAYA: The decision by Parti Bersatu Sabah (PBS) to establish branches outside Sabah is not for the party to contest electoral seats but to strengthen Barisan National as a national coalition.

The party’s secretary-general Datuk Johnny Mositun said that the move to establish branches in Peninsular Malaysia was not for the sake of contesting electoral seats beyond Sabah but to officially establish its presence in all parts of the country and to support and cooperate with other Barisan component parties on a continuous basis.
