Azeez: It was friendly banter, I am not a racist


PETALING JAYA: Baling MP Datuk Seri Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim insisted that he is not a racist and that his “balik tongsan” remark against Opposition MPs was made in a friendly banter.

He said he had been called thambi (younger brother) and mamak (Indian Muslim) many times in the Dewan Rakyat but he took it all in his stride.
