Association warns public about donation scam

GEORGE TOWN: A welfare association here has warned the public of individuals using its name to seek donations.

Persatuan Kebajikan Yen Yen Orang Kurang Upaya Negeri Pulau Pinang chairman Teh Khoon Leng said the association had found donation boxes bearing its logo at various food outlets and mini markets on the island although it had removed such boxes earlier this year.
