PETALING JAYA: The free visa programme for tour groups from China will come into effect on Oct 1, but by then many of them would have already made plans for the country’s National Day break, known as the Golden Week.
Tourism Malaysia chairman Wee Choo Keong said the free visa would be too late for visitors from China, whose seven-day holiday would start on Oct 1.
