KUALA LUMPUR: While many homeless people anticipate Hari Raya by joining street open houses organised by NGOs like Pertiwi Soup Kitchen, there are also others who are hardly even bothered with life.

“Hari Raya is meaningless to me,” said Azman Ahmad Nordin, 47, a homeless man who has been living on five-foot-ways of Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman for over a month now.
