KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia is ready to contain any outbreak of the Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) in the event the disease spreads to local shores, says Datuk Seri Dr S. Subramaniam.
"Surveillance is there and I can assure you that the Health Ministry has the ability to handle MERS," said the Health Minister.
