Change of auditors common practice among large companies

PETALING JAYA: The move to change 1Malaysia Development Berhad’s (1MDB) auditors is common practice among large companies and not meant to “hide information”.

The decision to switch auditors from KPMG to Deloittee was also a move for the better as Deloitte is the biggest audit firm in the world, Second Finance Minister Datuk Seri Ahmad Husni Hanadzlah said in a Wednesday 9pm interview on Radio Televisyen Malaysia’s (RTM) Dialog programme.
