KOTA KINABALU: The police, the armed forces and various state and federal government agencies are studying the nomadic seafaring Palau community in Sabah’s east coast as part of comprehensive measures to boost security there.
Eastern Sabah Security Command (Esscom) Public Action Division director Mohd Khalid Wan Kamal said the three-day study would determine the population of the community, their socio-economic backgrounds and their links.
