Former Queen laid to rest at royal mausoleum

Funeral rites: Ahmad Razif paying his last respects to Tengku Intan Zaharah at the state royal mausoleum at Masjid Abidin in Kuala Terengganu.

KUALA TERENGGANU: The body of Tengku Ampuan Intan Zaharah Almarhum Tengku Seri Setia Raja Tengku Hitam Omar has been laid to rest at the state royal mausoleum at Masjid Abidin here.

She was buried at 4.15pm yesterday, next to the grave of her husband, Almarhum Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah, who was the fourth Yang di-Pertuan Agong.
