GEORGE TOWN: A group of residents apprehended two men trying to rob a woman last night in Air Itam, here, upon hearing her cry for help and then handed the two to police.
Northeast district police chief, ACP Mior Faridalatrash Wahid said in the 10.45pm incident, the 46-year-old woman who returned home from shopping had just got out of her car when one of two men on a motorcycle tried to snatch her handbag, causing her to fall.
