PETALING JAYA: The return of the Malay and Iban-language Bibles to the Sarawak church was done to respect each other’s religious beliefs and the sensitivity of various religions in the country.
The Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) chairman Datuk Mohamad Adzib Mohd Isa, who handed over the Bibles to the Bishop of Kuching Reverend Datuk Bolly Lapok, said the holy books were only meant to be used by Christians in Sarawak.
