JPJ to come down hard on motorists with fancy licence plates and HID headlamps

PETALING JAYA: The brakes have been slammed on vehicles with fancy number plates, running strobe lights and unapproved high intensity discharge (HID) headlamps.

After months of issuing warnings, the Road Transport Department (JPJ) will begin its nation-wide crackdown against motorists flouting rules and specifications from today.
