PETALING JAYA: Open-mindedness is a key component in strengthening democratic practices in a country, said Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah of Perak.
Speaking at the Universiti Malaya’s 53rd convocation ceremony, Sultan Nazrin said open-mindedness could help establish a successful nation with a common sense of belonging by moulding people from various religious, racial, cultural and linguistic backgrounds and from different states into an independent Malaysia.
