Azmi happy his Sedition Act challenge referred to High Court


KUALA LUMPUR: Universiti Malaya law lecturer Dr Azmi Sharom is “very happy” that his Sedition Act challenge has been referred to the High Court.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to thrash out the very important issue of the constitutionality of this,” he told The Star yesterday after a press conference announcing the 3rd International Conference on Human Rights and Peace and Conflict in South-East Asia.
