Traffic set to disappear from Jonker Walk

The most famous road in Malacca, thanks to Jonker Walk which attracts hordes of tourists from all over the world.

MALACCA: The iconic Jonker Walk will probably revert to its glorious past when the plan to close the street in the area to traffic is implemented.

Documents pertaining to the facelift of the popular tourist attraction, the licensing aspect and recommendation to revert to the system in which traders are required to renew their business licences annually and not three months are being finalised and will soon be submitted to the Chief Minister’s office.
