Customers will be spoilt for choice by MAS at three-day MATTA Fair

PETALING JAYA: The three-day MATTA Fair will see customers being spoilt for choice by Malaysia Airlines’ various business and economy class offerings.

Although MAS will not have a booth at this year’s fair, it is working with 57 of its appointed travel agents to offer great travel packages.

Additionally, there will be all-inclusive return fares available on its website, www.malaysiaairlines.com from now till Sept 13, MAS said in a statement yesterday.

The fares start from RM300 to Singapore, RM350 to Bangkok, RM400 to Jakarta, Yangon or Phnom Penh, RM500 to Saigon or Denpasar, RM950 to Perth, RM1500 to Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide or Brisbane and RM2900 to Auckland.

Also on offer are destinations such as London from RM2,800, Paris or Amsterdam from RM2,700, Taipei from RM800, Tokyo from RM1,700, Incheon from RM1,200, Hong Kong from RM750 and Guangzhou from RM1,000.

Domestic flights are also going at discounts, with return fares starting from RM120 within the peninsula and RM260 to Sabah and Sarawak.

Malaysia Airlines’ travel arm, Golden Holidays, will also be offering travel packages from RM980 to Siem Reap, RM1,060 to Bangkok, RM1,470 to Bali and RM2,150 to Yangon.

The travel period for the MATTA fair destinations start from Sept 7 to Jun 30, 2015 and ends on 30 June 2015, while the travel validity of Golden Holidays packages are from Sept 7 to March 31, 2015.

Meanwhile, MATTA has named The Japan National Tourism Organisation (JNTO) Singapore as the Favourite Destination Partner for the second time running. MATTA Fair organising chairman Rocky Kho said Japan was one of the more popular destinations for Malaysians to travel to. “Japan is doing very well in inbound tourism,” he said.
