KUALA LUMPUR: The chief executive officer of a company was sentenced by a Sessions Court here to two years' jail and ordered to be whipped two times for cheating a sales manager by inducing the latter to hand over three cheques totalling RM150,000 over the purchase of a business plan.
Sessions Judge Norsharidah Awang handed down the decision Friday after the defence failed to prove reasonable doubt in Mohd Syawaludin Siran's case.
