GEORGE TOWN: Ketum abusers will soon be facing charges under the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952 instead of the Poisons Act 1952.
Deputy Home Minister Datuk Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar said on Thursday that the Government was currently in the process of gazetting the law, which is expected to come into force in the first quarter of next year.
