Christians to observe a half-day fast

PETALING JAYA: The national day of mourning will see Christians across the nation maintaining a half-day fast in honour of the victims of MH17, said Council of Churches of Malaysia (CCM) general secretary Rev Dr Hermen Shastri.

“The chapel in the CCM headquarters has maintained a constant vigil throughout this tragedy, with a candle lit at all times,” he said, adding that people are invited to come and say personal prayers at the chapel.
