Nasruddin refuses to apologise and may face lawsuit


PETALING JAYA: PAS Syura Council member Nasruddin Hassan has refused to apologise for his attack on Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng over the Penang sea-bed tunnel project, opening himself to a lawsuit by the DAP secretary-general and widening a rift in Pakatan Rakyat.

Nasruddin, who is commonly known as Tantawi, said his questions on why Lim was not criticised by Pakatan leaders over the tunnel when Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim was slammed over a controversial highway proposal in Selangor, was based on public information.
