Thugs cause five-hour delay in water pumping

KLANG: A group of armed thugs terrorised security personnel manning the Hybrid Off River Augmentation System (Horas) in Bestari Jaya, causing a five-hour delay in the work of pumping water from ponds into the river.

Calling it an act of sabotage, Selangor executive councillor in charge of infrastructure and public amenities Dr Ahmad Yunus Hairi said the incident also resulted in a delay in pumping 70 million litres of water into Sungai Selangor.
