PETALING JAYA: Selangor Mentri Besar Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim has thanked the top brass of PAS for stating that they would like to see him serve out the rest of his term.
Khalid, who has faced opposition from his own party members such as Gombak MP and PKR deputy president Azmin Ali, thanked PAS spiritual leader Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat and Datuk Ahmad Yakob, acting head of the powerful Dewan Ulama, for coming to his defence.
