SHAH ALAM: PAS Member of Parliament Khalid Samad has issued a public apology to Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah of Selangor over his statement questioning the executive powers of the state Islamic Council or Mais.
The Shah Alam MP said he was only suggesting a review of the powers of Mais and was not criticising the Sultan, and was shocked at the way the Ruler reacted to the statement he made last month.
