KUALA LUMPUR: The parents of an eight-year-old girl are taking legal action against the teacher who threw his shoe at her for playing in the classroom.

Port Dickson Municipal Council worker K. Muthtu, 35, and his wife R. Siyamala, 32, are being assisted by MIC Youth in taking up the civil suit against the teacher, the school and the Education Ministry.
