PUTRAJAYA: Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi is retaining his parliamentary seat after the Federal Court ruled that the Bagan Datoh MP could not have committed bribery within the confines of the election law.
Chief Justice Arifin Zakaria said Section 32(c) of the Election Offences Act had outlined that corrupt practices could only be committed by a nominated candidate.
