KUANTAN: Four foreigners were killed and seven others injured in an overloaded car that crashed at KM134 of the East Coast Highway in Temerloh.
State acting traffic chief Asst Supt Zainalabidin Othman said all the four men killed were believed to be Myanmar nationals. Only one had identification documents on him.
ASP Zainalabidin said police believe the overloaded car went out of control and veered to the left side of the road before overturning.
The four killed had been thrown out of the vehicle.
He said the car driver who was among the injured, was Che Mohd Azuwan Che Hashim, 30, from Tanah Merah, Kelantan.
The group is believed to have been heading from Rantau Panjang, Kelantan, to Kuala Lumpur.
All the injured were admitted yesterday to the Sultan Ahmad Shah Hospital in Temerloh.
