SHAH ALAM: A press conference held by about 100 Muslim non-governmental organisations (NGOs) at the Selangor Islamic Religious Council (Mais) office was abruptly interrupted when the fire alarm started ringing and the smell of smoke came wafting into the room.
Everyone in the press conference, including journalists, scampered out of the room and walked 10 flights of stairs down to the lobby.
