MCA lauds Selangor Barisan’s move

KUALA LUMPUR: MCA has lauded the Selangor Barisan Nasional’s decision to withdraw the motion on hudud in the state assembly, saying it truly reflects the principle of mutual respect within the coalition.

Deputy president Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong said although the motion only required a debate on the probability of the law being implemented, Pakatan Rakyat leaders deliberately misled the public by portraying that it was an intention to implement hudud in Selangor.
