Penang police pick up bookie at coffee shop

GEORGE TOWN: Penang police have picked up a man alleged to be a member of an illegal betting syndicate looking to cash in on World Cup 2014.

The man, 48, was alleged to have been busy taking down bets at a coffee shop in Paya Terubong without realising the presence of policemen.
